Welcome to the global May blog hop with the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES DESIGN TEAM – amazing Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world! Today we are featuring a technique LAYERING STENCILS – what? YEP – we are layering them! Check out my snippet – so fun and easy! My sentiment comes from the new Sunny Sentiments stamp set – full of great fonts and greetings.

I chose to use some new stencils in combination with the Pierced Blooms Dies for a pretty flower accent. The new stencils are called Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks. Since we had to "layer" the stencils – I made my own out of a little flower die and used that to create the bright yellow (Daffodil Delight) flowers on the background and then stenciled over the entire layer using Blending Brushes and the scallop stencil. So quick and easy!
I decorated the inside with a strip of stenciled Basic White on Basic Black. That really adds a lot right?
Dimensions:
- Card base (Daffodil Delight) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Basic White 3 3/4" x 5", 3/4" x 4" & 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
- Basic Black 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", 1" x 4" & scrap
- Daffodil Delight scrap
The Plenty of Patterns comes with 4 different stencils – shown below. I can't hardly wait to use the rest of them!
