Welcome to the June blog hop with the TOTALLY TECHNIQUES DESIGN TEAM! We have some fun projects today featuring WATERCOLOR PENCILS. Did you know that Stampin' Up! has two sets of watercolor pencils? AND they coordinate with our exclusive colors to make designing so easy!
I chose a to share a SPOTLIGHTING TECHNIQUE with you using the Assortment #1 and Assortment #2 WATERCOLOR PENCILS. I blended my color with the smallest WATER PAINTER. I love the control that I get when I use the WATER PAINTERS.
I stamped my DAISY GARDEN background stamp using the STAMPARATUS. I really like to use that when I have a big image – it's a lot easier to handle than trying to put it on a block to stamp. I choses STAZON ink because it is waterproof and won't bleed when I blended pencils. Once I stamped the image on my BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK, I used the LAYERING CIRCLES DIES to die cut the circle and a scalloped circle to die cut the GORGEOUS GRAPE mat. Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight WATERCOLOR PENCILS were the perfect color to add to the "spotlight" circle.
The A GRAND KID had the perfect sentiment for my card. I will be using these to congratulate my team for various achievements. I stamped that with VERSAMARK ink on a 3/4" strip of Gorgeous Grape and embossed it with WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER. The BANNER PICK A PUNCH is perfect to punch those ends or you can use your PAPER SNIPS if you don't have one.
My sentiment is stamped with GORGEOUS GRAPE ink and then a little bit of the DAISY GARDEN image is a perfect touch to the bottom corner.

- Basic White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4"
