Watercoloring is one of the easiest techniques to do and feel like you are ARTSY!!! I chose to use the BRIGHT BAUBLES bundle for my cards. I love the large images in the stamp set and the dies are to DIE for!
I used the E Acrylic Black and applied my ink directly from the pad to the acrylic block. The key is misting it with water. Don't skimp on the water. You're going to get more blending of colors with more water.
I chose Mango Melody and Melon Mambo for the card below. I love how the colors blend together to make the pretty orange.
I love to use this technique with rich colors and make them POP with Basic Black! The colors used below are Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green – so pretty right? My bauble is die cut from the BE DAZZLING SPECIALTY PAPER – free with your $50 order through 9/30.

- Basic Black 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
- Be Dazzling Specialty Paper 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
- Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
- Basic Black 1/2" x 2 7/8"
- Basic White 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Melon Mambo or Bermuda Bay 4" x 5 1/4"
The inside sentiment is trimmed from the center of one of the die cut baubles. A fun way to add an inside greeting.
I can't wait to send these out this holiday season – my friends will LOVE them!
