Isn't this soft and pretty? A beautiful card made by my downline Rose Grunewald – can you believe she just started stamping last summer??? And for the most part – this card is brought to us by the DRAGONFLY DREAMS bundle! YEP – except for the flower – the other images are from that bundle…which I love! I don't know if you could tell or not – LOL!!!

I love how Rose stamped the solid bee images for her background – genius!!!

That gorgeous flower is from the SUNSHINE WISHES set of thinlits…a complete product list is shown down below.

Instructions:

  1. Using So Saffron, stamp the solid bee from the Dragonfly Dreams set in a random pattern on the So Saffron card front0
  2. Adhere So Saffron card front to Basic Black piece
  3. Die cut the flower from the Sunshine Wishes Dies and the Bee from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits in Basic Black & adhere to the card front
  4. Wrap the Metallic Black Thread around the layered card front 5 times and secure with tape on the back
  5. Stamp your sentiment in basic black on a scrap of So Saffron – snip around each word to separate them.
  6. Adhere the snipped words to scraps of Basic Black and snip to frame each So Saffron piece. Attach the layered words to the card front using dimensionals
  7. Adhere card front to card base
  8. Stamp the inside of your card with the solid bee in So Saffron diagonally across the card.
  9. In Basic Black, stamp the birthday sentiment in the middle of the inside of the card (over the diagonal bees)

The BLACK METALLIC THREAD is so subtle under the little words…but really adds a lot to the card…just that little something extra can take a card from a ten to a ten + don't you think? We have METALLIC THREAD in gold, silver and copper!

  • So Saffron – 4 ¼” x 11”, score and fold at 5 ½”; 3 ¾” x 5”; scrap
  • Basic Black – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”; Scrap
