Today I have a fun technique for you called TWISTED RIBBON TECHNIQUE! This is an easy one as long as you space your 1/2″ strips of designer series paper evenly – it gives the illusion of twisted ribbon.

TERRIFIC TOADSTOOL is a fun and popular bundle from the mini catalog. I chose my colors directly from the designer series paper – making it easy to design.
Here’s a screen shot of the first layer of DSP strips. Each strip starts at the top of the 1/2″ panel (scored at 1/2″ increments) and ends at the bottom of the 2nd score line. Repeat all the way down the 4″ Basic White layer. Then apply the second patterned DSP strips going the opposite direction.

- Melon Mambo — 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, 2″ x 4″
- Toadstool Gardens DSP (SAB) — 1″ x 3 3/4″ (inside), 1/2″ strips
- Basic White — 2 @ 4″ x 5 1/4″ & scrap
- Gray Granite — scrap
