Here's a few things I learned about a trip to Europe:

• It is beautiful…like breath taking!
• It's very crowded…so if you're not into crowds…this may not be the trip for you.
• I loved all the flowers and vines growing up the sides of the buildings – very charming.
• Italy is very dirty.
• Bathrooms are not only hard to find – but often you have to pay to use them.
• Toilets don't have seats on them…weird.
• Cafe service was very good – but they don't like to bring your bill…you have to ask for it.
• I loved Pompeii – it was very intriguing and I'm not into history!
• Rome was incredible – to think that I was walking on the same pathways that had been travelled by people thousands of years ago was cool.
• You must have an excursion guide to get the most out of your day – they gave us so much background on what happened, where we were, the general attitude of the ancient people – they really were priceless.
• Keep your purse zipped! I was pick-pocketed in Florence – lost all my cash, credit cards and driver's license…and it could always be worse! I did not lose my passport!
• I'm a tropical vacationer…it was not tropical in May.
• Can't wait for our Stampin' Up! trip to Thailand next year!!!
