We are modifying punches this week! I have some great tips that will help you get more out of your punches. You'll find all the details in this video tutorial:

Remember this card? I shared it with you last week. The sentiment layer was modified – the original shape was the Everyday Label Punch and I trimmed off the top and bottom to make the shape below. FUN!
What punches do you have that you can use in a different way?

Jane and Arlene are outside their nursing home, having a drink and a smoke, when it starts to rain. Jane pulls out a condom, cuts off the end, puts it over her cigarette, and continues smoking.
Arlene: What in the hell is that?
Jane: A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet.
Arlene: Where did you get it?
Jane: You can get them at any pharmacy.
The next day, Arlene hobbles herself into the local pharmacy and
announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms.
The pharmacist, obviously embarrassed, looks at her kind of strangely (she is, after all, over 80 years of age), but very delicately asks what size, texture, brand of condom she prefers.
'Doesn't matter Sonny, as long as it fits on a Camel.'
The pharmacist fainted.

Your joke of the week, is just too funny. Hugs, Sylvia….PS You’re awesome, but I guess you already know that. Huggies, Sylxxxooo
Couldn’t stop laughing and picturing the Joke of the Week happening…that pharmacist HAD to have fainted!!!! Bwahahahahaha!!
Who knew! Great tip. Thanks so much.
Great tips with punches and the joke was hilarious!
Histerical joke!!!!!!! Thanks for showing us how to use our punches differently. I have all of the ones you used…VERY CLEVER!!! I found a couple of others that can be changed as well….Tailored Tag punch and the Bow Builder punch,…..guessing that we can elongate the the piece on the bottom that wraps around the other “Fish tails” and small rectangle…..to make an even larger bow!!!!!!!!! I have yet to try them….but the Tailored Tag Punch should be easy to enlarge or make smaller!!!!! Just thought I would look through my punches and see what I could find to change the shapes!!!!!! Thank you for your video!!!!!! If we did not live soooo far apart (I am in CA!) I know we would have a great time together…but others have told you the same thing. LOVE your videos and FB Lives!!!!!!
Hello!
This is genius! I have to admit that I thought this video would be stuff I already knew. And some of it was; but the rest was, did I say “genius” yet? 🙂 I have been wracking my brain for quite some time to figure out how to make a longer “word window” punch. Now I know!!!! 🙂
So, to make a layered punch, you could punch out the original in a dark color and then stamp and modify the punch in a lighter color. Shazzam!
Thank you so much. I needed to have this cheeriness!

I have actually created pages in one of my notebooks doing what you have done for both punches and dies. For the Classic Label you can cut 3/8” strip and insert from the outside to make banner ends.
Love your stuff and glad you are on our Great Lakes Council:)
You always have the best ideas to share!! and the joke, oh my, even made the hubby laugh out loud!!
You were right, this joke has to be the best one yet I think. Laughed and laughed.
Great reminder to look at our stash to see how we can use things differently.

Your joke is so cute and funny and your tutorial was so helpful ! Thanks !
