I've shown you how to modify punched shapes in a previous video – so while this video shows you how to do that it also shows you an easier way than trying to push your punched shape in the end of the punch – watch my short tip video here to see what I mean:

Classic Label Punch – If you want to make a punch shape smaller it's easier to push it into the slot on the long side rather than the end to get it feeding into the punch – like this:
Then you can slide it around to the end easily and shorten the shape:
The same goes for this Rectangular Postage Punch – slide your punched shape in the long side:
Then swing it around to the end to shorten:
The Label Me Lovely punch is another great example – repeat to make it easier to shorten the shape.
Try out some of your punches with this nifty tip and see for yourself.
Kind of nice to know you can make different sizes with one punch right?
