Just another bright and cheerful smile for you today! I made this card for the make-n-take at the Secret Stamper Reveal party earlier this month. Such a cute and easy card to make – and of course a GREAT stamp set to use too! I love the new edgelit – Finishing Touches. It really does add that "finishing touch!"
My card base is So Saffron with Pool Party and Island Indigo layers. The So Saffron taffeta ribbon was the perfect soft embellishment.
It's hard to see in the photos – but I also stamped the little flower background in So Saffron to give my stamped layer some extra color. The card looks much prettier in real life. The stamped layer is 2-3/4" x 4". The "happy birthday" comes from the Curly Cute stamp set – one of my favorite greeting sets!
WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED HERE???
Was it really this bad when I headed to bed at 3am? REALLY??? I can see that I was in a stamping frenzy – having a blast…just me, my TV and all my new goodies! It's funny what you come back to when you drag yourself out of bed in the morning – LOL! I can also see that I must have gotten hungry…thus the Chili Cheese corn chips – YUM! Nobody else in my family likes these – which is GREAT – because I know they'll always be there for me when I need a little "naughty" snack…wink wink…
So what was sooooo frenzied last night? I was getting my PROJECT OF THE MONTH ready for August before I leave next week for convention! I just realized yesterday that I had to get this done with a deadline by July 22nd – I will be in an airplane on my way home on the 22nd – so I needed to get my butt in gear and "get er done!" I can't wait to share my creation with you – it's super fun…is the anticipation getting you yet???
