What’s cookin’ GOOD LOOKIN’?

I cased this card – so I can't take the credit for it – but how cute is this???  We'll be making this one at my Valentine Class on Wednesday and Thursday!

I don't know why…but my camera turned the chef hat from gray to green…it's really gray.

When you pull the platter lid up…..

Directions:

  • Stamp your pudgy chef dude on the white layer;
  • Stamp his pants on Designer Paper, cut out and adhere;
  • Punch some hearts and add flare to your card;
  • Color in his scrarf and cuff with Real Red Marker & hat with Going Gray Marker;
  • Cut a slit with the craft knife in the platter;
  • Stamp "I Love You" on Going Gray strip (I used Kraft on the sample – like the Going Gray better);
  • Adhere this strip to the platter lid and insert through slit;
  • Take a small strip of cardstock and adhere it to the back of the stripgoing the opposite way (like a "T") to make sure it doesn't come out of the slit when it's pulled up;
  • Punch the bottom of the Real Red layer with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch;
  • Be careful when you adhere the white card front to the red layer – keep the adhesive away from your secret message or it won't work!
  • Adhere to card front and TAA DAA!
