I love this layout and decided to give it a try with the TRICKS & TREATS BUNDLE. Here’s the first card and a treat box – the die for this box is included in the TRICKS & TREATS DIES. AND you know how much I LOVE candy corn right??? Make sure you watch the video – the candy corns WIGGLE!
Dimensions:
- Basic White Thick – 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, 3 3/4″ x 5″ (inside), 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ & scrap
- Pumpkin Pie – 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 3/4″ (flap), 1″ x 5 1/2″ (zig zag) & scrap
- Them Bones DSP – 3″ x 5 1/4″ (front)
- Daffodil Delight – scrap
And the adorable treat hold is two pieces of Basic White Thick cardstock die cut in the box die. Fold on all the score lines and adhere together to create the box.
What a great little card and matching treat holder!
I also made the exact same card and treat holder with HERMAN (from The Munsters) with the same THEM BONES DSP in different patterns and colors below. Herman’s head WOBBLES!
The ghosts on the treat holder GLOW IN THE DARK! So fun!
I used the same layout to make a gift card holder for Christmas using the SENDING CHEER BUNDLE and MERRY BOLD & BRIGHT DSP! Instead of cutting 1″ off the end of my card base I scored it at 1″ and folded the flap inside. I used a 1 3/4″ circle punch to make a notch to show the gift card. This card WOBBLES too!
Dimensions:
- Shaded Spruce – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 1″ & 4 1/4″ & 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 3/4″
- Merry Bold & Bright DSP – 3″ x 5 1/4″ & scraps
- Basic White – 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ embossed in CHRISTMAS TIDINGS EMBOSSING FOLDER & scrap
- Lemon Lime Twist – scrap
- Granny Apple Green – scrap
Here’s the flap that was folded in for a gift card – same card as the Halloween cards above. I just didn’t cut the 1″ off the edge and folded it inside to create the pocket.
Don’t forget to stamp up those envelopes – it’s so much fun to open the mail box and see bright and colorful mail!
