The SOPHISTICATED SLED BUNDLE is one of those timeless stamp sets/dies that will be something you grab for years! This bundle will make not only gorgeous Christmas cards but can be used to make all occasion winter cards, birthday cards, get well cards, anniversary…and I could go on and on. I love this bundle!
My first card uses a Real Red base and sled with that pop of Silver Foil for the sled runners. I layered the leaves with Garden Green and Old Olive to give a mix of colors. The PAINTED TREES 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER add some texture and winter fun to the background. I colored the small Rhinestones with the DARK REAL RED STAMPIN’ BLEND MARKERS to add berries to the greenery for a little extra pop.
I chose Crumb Cake ink for the little sentiment on the front (die cut with the banner from STYLISH SHAPES) and the skates on the inside – stamped off once.
This card is a fabulous layout. I love the WINTER MEADOW DESIGNER SERIES PAPER cut into strips (all dimensions in the video tutorial) to add fun dimension. The SNOWFLAKE SKY 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER was used for the card front base layer and also the flap on the envelope for some extra elegance.
And the inside – BLUEBERRY BUSHEL ink for the sentiment from THROUGHOUT THE YEAR sentiment stamp set.
And who doesn’t love hanging ice skaters? I’m always attracted to ice skates. I used the WINTER MEADOW DSP again for the layer on the front and framed that with a pop of Basic White. The tiny banner is from the STYLISH SHAPES DIES. I embossed the little snowflake images with the BASICS WOW! EMBOSSING POWDER.
The inside again features a sentiment from the THROUGHOUT THE YEAR stamp set stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink.
