I chose the REGAL FLORA BUNDLE to make some “regal” cards tonight. The REGAL WINTER DESIGNER SERIES PAPER grabbed my attention when I first saw the Sept-Dec mini catalog. It’s just so beautiful!
I created this simple card with a class diagonal layout as a great idea for quick and easy cards that really feature the pretty paper. The layer of Basic White under the DSP is a great step up for this layout.
I made this layout with several of the patterns in the REGAL WINTER DSP with various card base colors.
This card uses the double die cut label. This one is such an interesting die – cutting and embossing the outside frame at the same time as it cuts the inside label. I chose Night of Navy for the inside and Gold Foil for the outside frame. The flowers are inked with Gorgeous Grape and Night of Navy Ink is applied to the outside edges and centers of the flowers with a SPONGE DAUBER to create the multi-colored flowers.
Some of the sentiments that are used for all these cards are from the COMFORTING THOUGHTS stamp set – perfect for creating cards to uplift friends and family that may be struggling with personal or health issues.
This fun fold is a double card with the window label that adds an extra special element. I used the inside Gold Foil label from the previous card for the background element behind the “feel better” sentiment from the WANTED TO SAY DIES.
This card opens up to reveal another card showcasing the backside of the DSP used on the front of the card.
I also made this layout with another pattern from the REGAL WINTER DSP – shown below.
