The SIMPLY SPARKLING is one of our new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE bundles! I am in LOVE! Learn how to make a Double Flap card with this fun bundle! I used the strawberries with Berry Burst 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.
Dimensions – Base:
- Berry Burst — 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ (cut 2 3/4″ off and use for front layer)
- Brights DSP (top) — 2 1/2″ x 4″
- Brights DSP (inside) — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Dimensions – Top:
- Berry Burst — 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ (this is the piece from the base that was cut off the front)
- Basic White — 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Brights DSP — 2 1/2″ x 4″
Dimensions – Inside:
- Berry Burst — 3 1/4″ x 10″ scored at 5″
- Basic White — 3 1/8″ x 4 7/8″ – cut two
Below is the card with the first flap open. I scored the 3 1/8″ x 4 7/8″ Basic White layer shown below at 1/4″ on all sides.
Here is the inside flap open – I used a 1/2″ strip of Berry Burst to stamp the sentiment on:
And then I made the same card with Daffodil Delight and the lemons:
I love how these turned out! You could make them in any color or make a whole assortment of colors and package them up for a gift!
I love how this set of cards and gift box turned out using the SNOW CRYSTAL stamp! This stamp is in the Annual Catalog. I created the cards with the DELIGHTFUL FLORALS DSP using Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Calypso Coral, Parakeet Party and Berry Burst.
Here’s one of the five cards – I used the Delightful Florals DSP – another ONLINE EXCLUSIVE product. The tag is from the TAILOR MADE TAGS DIES using the THROUGHOUT THE YEAR sentiment stamp set.
Dimensions:
- Basic White Note Cards — 7″ x 5″ scored at 3 1/2″ (Note Cards & Envelopes – 159232 – 20 each for $10.50)
- Basic White — scrap for tag
- Delightful Floral DSP — 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
- Pretty Peacock — 3 3/8″ x 4 7/8″
And of course a little box to match was just what I needed! I used Pool Party for my box and made it the same way I made the cards. The SNOW CRYSTAL is embossed with White Embossing Powder on the Pool Party DELIGHTFUL FLORAL DSP. I used a bigger tag from the TAILOR MADE TAGS and the sentiment is from the same stamp set – THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
Dimensions:
- Pool Party (Box Base) — 7 3/4″ x 9 1/4″ scored at 1″ & 2″ on all sides
- Pool Party (Box Lid) — 6 3/8″ x 7 7/8″ (just a tiny bit smaller that the measurements given)
- Delightful Floral DSP (Lid Layer) — 3 5/8″ x 5 1/8″
- Basic White (Lid Layer) — 3 3/8″ x 4 7/8″ & scrap for tag
