Welcome to the December Totally Techniques Blog Hop! Our theme this month is BLOCK BUILDING cards. I chose the ADORING HEARTS bundle – BRAND NEW starting Jan 4, 2024! I’ve got new designer series paper and a new bundle – WHOO HOO!
Here’s a video tutorial that shows you step-by-step how I created this fabulous fun fold:
Here’s the front of my card:
Dimensions:
- Basic White Thick — 5 1/2″ x 10 1/8″ scored at 3 1/2″ & 7″
- Real Red — 3 3/8″ x 5 3/8″, 2 @ 1 7/8″ x 5 3/8″ & scrap
- Most Adored Specialty DSP — 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″, 2 @ 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ & 6 @ 1 1/8″ x 1 3/8″

Well – guess who made a mistake? ME! This paper is called MOST ADORED – no N. It’s gorgeous and part of our Sale-a-Bration promotion that starts Jan 4 – Feb 29, 2024. It’s FREE with a $50 order!
These Hybrid Embossing Folders use to scare me a little bit – hard to believe that you can put a die in an embossing folder and not wreck it – but it works! So easy to die cut and emboss at the same time.
The 3-Panel Block Building card is (5 1/2″ x 10 1/2″) scored on the long side at 3 1/2″ & 7″. Then cut on the inside score line making a 1 1/2″ slit at 1/2″, 1 3/4″, 2 1/8″, 3 3/8″, 3 3/4″ & 5″.
The 4-panel Block Building Card is the same size (5 1/2″ x 10 1/2″) scored on the long side at 3 1/2″ & 7″. Then cut on the inside score line making a 1 1/2″ slit at 3/8″, 1 3/8″, 1 5/8″, 2 5/8, 2 7/8″, 3 7/8″, 4 1/8″ & 5 1/8″.
Here’s the entire bundle – ADORING HEARTS stamp set with dies and embossing folder. This bundle will be available starting on January 4, 2024.
