The first card features the new FILLED WITH HAPPINESS stamp set and the MODERN OVAL PUNCH. This new stamp set coordinates with the punch and can be found on page 35 in the new JAN-APR MINI CATALOG (that comes out tomorrow!!!). Also new is the designer series paper (DSP) called LIGHTER THAN AIR. It is a fabulous pack of 6″ x 6″ DSP with lots of fun colors and patterns. It coordinates with the HOT AIR BALLOON SUITE on pages 32-34 in the new mini. My embellishments for these cards are the new RAINBOW ADHESIVE-BACKED DOTS.
I also used the BASIC WHITE NOTE CARDS & ENVELOPES pack. You get 20 of each in a pack for $10.50 – what a DEAL! The folded cards measure 3 1/2″ x 5″ and are suitable for the mail. It’s fun to make a quick and easy card – they are a little smaller than a regular card. It’s also fun to make up and entire set and give them as a gift – I do that a lot. Here’s the first card:

My next card uses the same stamp set, FILLED WITH HAPPINESS, with a different image and a really fun layout. I added a square of Azure Afternoon embossed with the BASICS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER, a piece of the DSP from the LIGHTER THAN AIR pack and a Fresh Freesia banner from the STYLISH SHAPES DIES. I tied a little of the Lemon Lolly baker’s twine around the banner – this twine is new – BAKER’S TWINE THREE COLOR PACK – and features Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lolly and Balmy Blue twine.

My third card is a calendar card. I love these!!! You can set them in your kitchen or your office and enjoy them all year long! I get my calendars from www.Vippies.com – I get the large size in the mini calendars. I will include one with your kit.

The bird on the front is fussy cut from the DSP – there are two full 12″ x 12″ sheets of the bigger birds to take advantage of! The Petal Pink layer is embossed with the SOFTLY SOPHISTICATED EMBOSSING FOLDER – it’s part of a bundle – I stamped the back of my calendar card and envelope with the SOFTLY SOPHISTICATED STAMP SET – you get the stamp set and embossing folder FREE during SAB when your order reaches $100.

- Boho Blue — 11″ x 4 1/4″ & 1″ x 4 1/4″ & (inside stabilizer tab) 3″ x 2″ scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″ & 2 1/2″ on the long side

- Basic White — 4″ x 5 1/4″ & 1 1/8″ x 4 1/4″
The inside is actually adhered to the back of the card. The flowers and stem image uses two step stamping with the beautiful SOFTLY SOPHISTICATED stamp set in Petal Pink and Garden Green inks.
We put the 3″ x 2″ stabilizer tab on the inside of the card to ensure that it would stand up for the whole year. You’ll score and fold it as shown. I used Tear & Tape on the tabs to make sure it doesn’t let loose.
