The first card tonight is a fun layout. I fell in love with this layout from a swap card I received and thought it would work really good with the PETAL PARK bundle. I chose Mango Melody 6″ x 6″ DSP from the BRIGHTS COLLECTION. I stamped the leaf image in Crumb Cake Ink on a Crumb Cake base and then added the DSP at an angle as shown. Trimmed off the edges and waaa laaa!

Here’s the inside – just a little stamping of the leaves down the side with Crumb Cake Ink and a sentiment stamped with Mango Melody Ink.
Dimensions:
- Crumb Cake 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Brights DSP – Mango Melody or Poppy Parade
- Basic Black scrap for Deckled Rectangle Die
- Basic White scrap for Deckled Rectangle Die & flowers
- Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ inside
I made this card in two different DSP colors – here is the one I made with Poppy Parade:
A little scoring created the fun lines at the top/bottom and left/right on this card front. I scored them at 1/4″ increments. Just a nice little element to add. The cards below feature the ENJOY THE RHYTHM stamp set and LIKE AN ANIMAL SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. I love these two together! I’m using both in my ENJOY THE RHYTHM KIT CLASS this month – you’ll find the details and registration for the kit class HERE.

- Bermuda Bay 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, 4 1/2″ & 4 3/4″
- Score on each side of the front panel at 1/4″ & 1/2″
- Bermuda Bay 1/2″ x 2 3/4″
- Basic Black 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Basic White 4″ x 2 3/4″ & 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Like An Animal Specialty DSP 1″ x 2 3/4″
Here is the inside – I used a 1/2″ strip of DSP and 3/4″ strip of Bermuda Bay:
I also made this card using a different pattern of the LIKE AN ANIMAL SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and Shaded Spruce and Real Red.
