What a fun little card this is! I tried the FLOATING STRIP TECHNIQUE with the HIPPEST HIPPOS bundle – both the stamp set and dies are part of our Sale-a-bration promotion (ends 8/31/22) – with each $50 you order you can choose a free item – these are both free!
This technique uses WINDOW SHEETS under the strips of paper to create a floating element for the colorful layer. I used Pool Party, Highland Heather, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, So Saffron, and Soft Sea Foam for my 3/8" x 3" strips. The Window Sheet is 3" x 3" and the whole panel is mounted on mini dimensionals.
I love the strip of embossing across the front Basic White layer – I used the STRIPES & SPLATTERS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER.

The ELEPHANT PARADE is absolutely adorable! I used Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz inks to give the sky and grass some interesting texture.
The elephants and butterflies are colored with Stampin' Blend Markers.
